Mrs. Competition Scoring
Personal Interview
50% (of overall score) SCORING (1-20 points)
Individual interviews are conducted between each judge and the contestants, there are a total of 5 judges. Each contestant will have 5 minutes with each judge. Each contestant is required to have a platform, (something that the contestant has a passion for). No political or religious questions allowed, unless it pertains to the platform. Judges will keep in mind, accomplishments, family commitment, communication skills, community involvement and overall appearance. Dress for interview segment is business suit.
Fitness Wear
25% (of overall score) SCORING (1-10 points)
Each contestant will be judged on being physically fit, energetic and healthy. There is no swimsuit competition!! Contestants wear the official fitness wear of the International Pageant System.
Evening Gown
25% (of overall score) SCORING (1-10 points)
Contestants will select the evening gown of her choice. Husbands will escort their wife on stage during this segment of the competition. Evening gown will be scored on the self-confidence, poise, and grace the contestant shows in this phase of competition.

Contestants will answer an onstage platform question.

Contestants will select the evening gown of her choice. Evening gown will be scored on the self-confidence, poise, and grace the contestant shows in this phase of competition.
Miss/Miss Teen Competition Scoring

Miss Pre Teen Competition Scoring
Personal Interview
50% (of overall score) SCORING (1-20 points)
Interviews will be conducted between 5 judges and contestant. Each contestant will have 2 minutes with each judge. No political or religious questions allowed. Each contestant will need to have a platform for which she will speak on during her year, if selected Miss Pre Teen South Dakota International. Dress for interview is Business Attire.
Evening Gown
25% (of overall score) SCORING (1-10 points)
Each contestant will wear her own personal choice of evening gown. Each contestant will be judged on grace, poise and elegance in Evening Wear.
Fun Fashion Wear
25% (of overall score) SCORING (1-10 points)
Contestants will select the fun fashion wear of her choice.
Little Miss & Young Miss Competition Scoring
Personal Interview
50% (of overall score) SCORING (1-20 points)
Individual interviews are conducted between each judge and the contestant, there are a total of 3 judges. Each contestant will have 3 minutes with each judge. Judges will keep in mind, etiquette, community involvement, respect and confidence.
Etiquette
25% (of overall score) SCORING (1-10 points)
Contestants will be judged during lunch. Judges will keep in mind table manners and conversation manners.
Party Dress
25% (of overall score) SCORING (1-10 points)
Contestants will select the party dress of her choice. Party dress will be scored on self-confidence, poise, and grace the contestant shows in this phase of competition.
