Ms. South Dakota International 2020
I live in Brandon with her husband, Chris, and they are expecting their first child in April 2020. I graduated from O'Gorman High School in 2008. I received Bachelor of Arts in English from South Dakota State University in 2012.
I started competing in pageants my junior year of college and was awarded the title of Miss South Dakota International 2012. During my reign I started my platform, A Different Kind of Lifeguard: Blowing the Whistle on Mental Illness, Self-Injury, and Suicide, and has since shared my own story of living with mental illness with thousands across South Dakota.
I continued my platform work when I was crowned Mrs. South Dakota International 2018 and I now run A Different Kind of Lifeguard as a nonprofit while serving the community as Ms. South Dakota International 2020.
